Hello everyone, my prayer today is that the revelation of God’s grace overwhelms every area of your life, including your occupation.
When you have the favor of God in your business, or workplace, what else do you need? He favors you, and He wants to freely give you His unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor!
Do you feel like something, or someone must change before God can bless you in your occupation, or business? If so, then you are going to have some difficult and challenging days at work, filled with toil and frustration. Usually what needs changed is what we believe. God loves you with such an intensity that He has made His favor super-abundant and profusely abounding toward you. Yes, you!
When you rest in and rely on the finished work of the cross, and Gods super abounding grace, there is nothing that can stop you from what God has for you; except you. He has prepared the good life for you, (Ephesians 2), and His promised land of entering into His rest, (Hebrews 4), all you have to do is believe. Unbelief is the ONLY thing that kept Israel, or will keep you from the promised land of total rest. Knowing the redemption we have through Jesus is so perfect and complete, that all He wants you to do is believe. Really, He doesn’t need your help (self-efforts), trying to fix and arrange things at work so you can be positioned for increase. His grace is sufficient to get you where He wants you. Don’t worry or be full of anxiety, be content, and trust in Him, and the fact that He has your best interest at heart. Worry and anxiety just chokes the word, and it becomes ‘unfruitful’ (Mark 5:18-19). Of course, we Christians don’t ‘worry’ we’re just ‘concerned’. (Jeremiah 29:11 NKJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 in the Message Bible puts it this way; I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out~plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
What were you hoping for? Do you have ‘hope’ for your future? Hope is a confident expectation of good in your future. Your hope comes from knowing how much you are loved by God, and your righteousness and innocence given to you as a result of the cross. It comes from being secure in your identity in Christ, the perfection of your innocence. The law is do more; you can never do enough, if it’s going to be, then it’s up to me. Grace is done, resting in what Jesus has done. What He has done for you at the cross has already met every need in your life that you have or ever will have. He wasn’t taken by surprise at your problem at work, if you let go of any of your own efforts, step back and rest in Him, meditate on how incredibly intense His love for YOU is, you will see His provision in the matter. Go reign in life today, because He has given you the victory!
