Business The Grace Way! #9

Good morning, are you ready to have a great work week? God by His grace is ready to give you one!

Today let’s pick up where I concluded last week with Genesis 5:29, …and He called his name Noah (rest), saying, this same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands…

I am continually learning about God’s grace, it is so amazing! I have also recently been amazed listening to some Christian discussions making a very simple gospel extremely complicated. Usually complicated with a lengthy list of rules, or weighted down with a lot of theological bull. This gospel is so simple, don’t let anyone muddy the waters, (as we see in the book of Galatians), hindering you from reigning in life.

We have been taught for generations, that we have to make our own way in life. I once heard a motivational speaker say, “if its going to be then its up to me”. This mentality runs opposite of God’s word, and yet that has been, and still is the dominant message to believers. We need to step over into the Gospel Revolution of Grace, and learn the simplicity of living this life in the finished work of Christ.

We can have rest in our work, and through Christ we have comfort concerning our work and the toil of our hands. Why is this difficult for many believers to grasp? I believe it is because we don’t know just how amazing and intense God’s unconditional love for us is. Also we have been somewhat misguided in our understanding of our forgiveness and innocence, continually carrying a heavy burden of guilt around. The world hasn’t misguided us, religion has. This error has been deeply set on the inside of us, and God’s message of Jesus finished work will free us from this deep rooted hindrance. We can choose to continue in the enemy’s lie, or we can see our business and careers flourish because we rest in the fact that God has caused ALL grace to abound toward you, that you, ALWAYS having ALL sufficiency in ALL things, may have an abundance for every good work. (2 Cor 9:8) NKJV. I made a decision to walk in His grace over 5 years ago, and I have not been disappointed! My previous years in ministry and business left me stressed, guilt ridden, and fearful about my business and my future. Oh I confessed that I was blessed, and yet I was lacking. Lacking in the area of peace and His rest. You know when your confession is empty and fabricated. We can hide a lot of things, but when your not at peace, and there is turmoil going on inside, and your heart is crying out, then come boldly to His throne of grace where you are always welcome, always loved, always accepted, and always innocent; and cast your cares unto Him. He wants to care for you, give you rest, prosper your work, for you are the object of His love! The last five years have been the most restful, peaceful years I have ever had in all my life. I rest in the finished work of Jesus, and He has taken care of everything, just the way He wanted to do all along. Wow, what a life, His life!

The context Jesus speaks of in Matthew 11:28-30, is religion. The burden of religion that was put on the peoples lives, here is what He said (Message Translation); 28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

There are so many things that religion has taught people that God has done to them, yet it is the thief who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. Jesus said “I have come to give you life (Zoe) and life more abundantly. Zoe life is the God kind and quality of life. God’s kind and quality of life is not a life of lack, failure, accidents, and things of this nature. The things I just mentioned are all filled with stealing, killing and destroying, not Zoe life.

Let us rest in this; that this Zoe life has been prepared for those who believe and receive His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, for they shall reign in the God kind and quality of life! In this He has prepared the good life for you to walk in, notice I said “good life”, (Ephesians 2:10 Amplified Translation). Rest in His finished work, be content with where you are, and He will cause you to live the good life by His favor, unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor. Reign as Kings in life today!

You Have Been Forever Accepted!

Good morning everyone! You are the focus of His love!

What drives people to try to be accepted? Rejection, and guilt. Usually those striving to be accepted were told they were not good enough, or that they missed the mark to qualify for their acceptance. To “miss the mark” is actually the bible definition of sin.

We see this a lot with children towards parents who have rejected them. Some children will spend their entire life in the futile pursuit of their parents acceptance. Trying to prove that they are good enough to be accepted. What is the end result of every failed attempt at acceptance? Massive endless guilt and self condemnation!

Here is some good news for you, God accepts you, and He has qualified you through Jesus. When we know we have been accepted by God, the rest becomes unimportant. You can only recognize your full acceptance with God when you know that you have been fully forgiven by Him. If you are still carrying guilt and condemnation, then you will not see yourself fully accepted.

Unfortunately many people not only grew up being rejected by parents and friends, they learned very well how to reject others. They also learned how to use guilt and condemnation to control and manipulate others around them. This has also spilled over into the pulpit. When preachers don’t understand the wealth of Gods love and grace, and just how forgiven and accepted they are, then they begin to use the law to attempt to control the people. They use the ministry of death, (2 Cor 3:7) and the ministry of condemnation (2 Cor 3:9) to produce death and condemnation in the lives of the congregation. I recently had heard a minister tell his congregation that God’s forgiveness was conditional upon the sincere confession of every single sin, and you must mean it too or you won’t be forgiven. He also stated that if you fail to perfectly forgive another person who has offended you, then you “cannot” be forgiven. What an insult to the blood of Jesus. With this mentality you could never really have peace, and know your accepted, because your not sure if you remembered all your sin, and maybe you weren’t really sincere enough. This kind of mentality does not have a clue concerning the finished work of the cross, and they continue to live in their own guilt and condemnation! This reminds me of the Pharisee’s rage every time Jesus said “your sins are forgiven”. They are training up slaves! Romans 8:15 mirror translation, Slavery is such a poor substitute for sonship! They are opposites; the one leads forcefully through fear; sonship responds fondly to Abba Father.

The very centerpiece of the gospel of grace is our forgiveness. In order to have peace with God and KNOW that we are accepted by Him we must know that our sin debt was paid ONCE AND FOR ALL by Jesus at the cross. Romans 5:18 Mirror Translation: The conclusion is clear: it took just one offense to condemn mankind; one act of righteousness declares the same mankind innocent.

Don’t let any man turn you back to the slavery of sin, by telling you, you have to “perform” (confession of every sin), in order to be forgiven and accepted by God! Your freedom in Christ is far to precious, so don’t return to slavery of guilt and condemnation. When you know that you have forever been forgiven, and thus forever accepted, you will never struggle with acceptance again, cause knowing He has accepted you is all that matters! Ephesians 1:4-6 NKJV: 4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, 5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, 6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved.

Yep, you have been accepted, and you are innocent, just receive it, and go reign in life as a King today!

You Have A Bright Future!

Good morning! Your future is bright in Christ!

Have you ever heard a parent say, “I just want to give my children a better future”. We all want what is best for our children, how much more our heavenly father. Matthew 7:11 says; “if you being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!”

God wants what is best for us, and Jesus has paid the price for us to enjoy the good life. Eph 2:4-10 amplified; 4  But God–so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us, 5  Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation). 6  And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together [giving us joint seating with Him] in the heavenly sphere [by virtue of our being] in Christ Jesus (the Messiah, the Anointed One). 7  He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. 8  For it is by free grace (God’s unmerited favor) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ’s salvation) through [your] faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [of your own doing, it came not through your own striving], but it is the gift of God; 9  Not because of works [not the fulfillment of the Law’s demands], lest any man should boast. [It is not the result of what anyone can possibly do, so no one can pride himself in it or take glory to himself.] 10  For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

He has prepared the good life, all you have to do is effortlessly walk in it by His grace. Your own self efforts will only frustrate the grace of God, they will get you no where. Knowing what Jesus completed for you at the cross, and resting in His finished work, will effortlessly propel you into His future for you, and it is a bright future abundantly filled with good things. Don’t worry He has you covered, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you! Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I have toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Praise the Lord, He has a great future for you and your hope is a confident expectation of good in your future. Stir your faith today, dwell on what Jesus has done for you, because faith comes by hearing, and hearing from the finished work of Jesus. Reign in life as a King today!

Business The Grace Way! #8

Good Monday morning to you. Begin this week in the victory that God intends for you. Are you content with where you are today? Are you fear full about the future of your business or career?

I want to continue from last week into what God has for us today.

Last week I started out by saying: Why do we entrust our entire eternal destination to God, but sometimes were not sure that He has our best interest at heart here on earth, regarding our calling, business or occupation? We can rest easy knowing when we die we will be in heaven, but we can be so full of anxiety (fear) on Monday morning worried about having sufficient clients, or finances to get by.

We have been spending time on understanding the forgiveness that we have through the cross, which means that we are innocent. We are not guilty! As I was preparing this devotional I heard in my heart, “fear many times is connected to the feeling of guilt and a expectation of punishment for doing something wrong or ‘missing the mark’. This made sense, so I began doing some research, and found in the Websters dictionary regarding one of the definitions of fear; “fear is the effect or consequence of guilt; it is the painful apprehension of merited punishment”. Wow, merited punishment!
Hope is a positive expectation of good in your future! Here we see a contrast of ‘a fearful expectation of merited punishment’, vs ‘a positive expectation of good in your future’ as a result of
God’s grace, or ‘unmerited favor’.

The law produces a fearful expectation of punishment, because the law says your guilty. Grace produces a positive expectation of good (hope) in your future, because you are forgiven, innocent, (righteous). This hope is not swayed by a economic downturn, a difficult boss, a dead end job where it appears that there can’t be any increase, or anything else for that matter.

Where does this hope emanate from? It comes from understanding what Jesus did for us at the cross. He made us innocent. This is why a consciousness of your sin all the time is not what God wants for you, it produces guilt, and a fear full expectation of merited punishment. Read Hebrews 10, here we see that through the one sacrifice of Jesus at the cross, we should not have a guilty sin consciousness anymore!

Abraham was a very successful business man and he lived before the law under a covenant of grace. Abraham was blessed in everything he set his hand to, and even when he lied about his wife twice, God rebuked the kings and even then the kings greatly favored and blessed Abraham. Galatians 3:29 and if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.

We see here the massive breakthrough impact that understanding your innocence will have on your business success, as well as your personal life. We also discover here that because you have been made innocent, you now can rest in the finished work of the cross, and as Paul said, “be content in whatever state your in”, Philippians 4:11. The Websters dictionary defines ‘content’ as; rest or quietness of the mind in the present condition; satisfaction which hold the mind in peace.

You can rest and have peace ONLY when you know your sin debt was paid, and you have been made innocent (righteous).

Get ready for your business and occupation to explode, as grace and peace is multiplied to you through your knowledge of what Jesus has done for you, 2nd Peter 1:2. If you are in the service industry, or public service, don’t feel left out, God can promote you beyond your wildest dreams, even as Joseph was promoted all the way to the top.

In conclusion, Genesis 5:29, and He called his name Noah (rest), saying, this same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands…

Jesus brought powerful rest through the cross! Today, know you are innocent, have a confident expectation of good in your future, be at peace, content and at rest where you are, because you have His grace (unmerited favor), His abundant supply. Why did He do this for you? Because He loves you with extreme radical, unconditional intense love! He wants you to reign as Kings in life, so reign today!

Do You Want To Be Closer To God?

Good morning on this wonderful resurrection morning!

Immanuel means “God with us”! He is with us, our lives are hidden in Christ, in God! We celebrate the finished work, resurrection day today! He didn’t say He would be with us if we pray really hard, or worship hard. HE IS WITH US! Romans 5:18 (Mirror Translation), The conclusion is clear: it took just one offense to condemn mankind; one act of righteousness declares the same mankind innocent.

What Christian doesn’t want to be closer to God? The real question is; how much closer to God can we get, than being seated with Christ at the right hand of the Father?

When we are living by His grace, and understand that we are completely innocent, and righteous, then we know we are in His presence all the time.

Let me say that no self effort on our part will ‘usher’ us into His presence. Our long prayers won’t accomplish it. Our worshiping for a certain length of time won’t do it. Our studying so many chapters of the bible won’t do it. You see everything I just mentioned is based on our doing something to qualify for God’s presence, anointing, glory or whatever we are trying to achieve.

Self efforts or works righteousness will only frustrate the grace of God. I see this frequently, Christians trying to earn what God has already freely given them. They say things like “we need God’s presence in this service or people won’t be blessed”. Those statements and self efforts reveal that someone is trying to operate by the law to achieve what God has already given them by His grace, (unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor).

We don’t have to try to ‘achieve’ holiness we start from holiness. Christ is our sanctification. Because of the finished work of the cross, Jesus has already made us holy. 1 Corinthians 1:30, He became for us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.

It is so awesomely amazing to know that we can enjoy the closeness of His presence all the time, because we are in Christ, we are forever in His presence. We are seated with Christ in heavenly places, Ephesians 2:6.

As I shared the other day, and it bears repeating here, Christians who think they must somehow perform to get His presence, glory, etc. are usually more conscious of their sin, than His righteousness. This results in feeling guilty, or not knowing all their sins are forever forgiven, (without the ‘effort’ of confessing our sins). 2nd Peter 1:9 … Is short sighted even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his sins.

Jesus did it all for us, and all our efforts will accomplish is to void our faith. Romans 4:14, for if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise of no effect.

On this day when we remember His resurrection, also remember He ushered in the covenant of His grace. The law said we must do, do, do, it was up to our doing. Grace says it is done, all we have to do now is believe what Jesus has already done for us. Enjoy His presence today, for He is forever with you and your life is hidden in Christ in God, forever in His presence! Enjoy life, and reign as a King in life today!

What Is Your Freedom Worth?

Have you ever stopped to think, what your freedom is worth to you? I don’t mean living in a free country, although that is good. There is a much greater freedom than where you live. Jesus lived this freedom, and He walked this earth under the tyrannical rule of the Roman government, yet in complete freedom. I mean the freedom you’ve been given in Christ. Where your faith is vibrant and effective. If you have received the revelation of His grace, then you will know exactly what I am talking about. If you haven’t, then it may not be as clear.
The revelation of God’s grace is no doubt, hands down the most liberating message to the world and the Christian, who believes what Jesus has done for them at the cross. Let’s face it though, and I know this will surprise some, but there are those (yes even Christians) who are comfortable with being enslaved.

Many years ago when I was a Captain with a Colorado Sheriff’s Department, I witnessed first hand those who were comfortable with the comforts of being incarcerated. Those comforts were three meals a day, warm bed to sleep in, all their daily decisions were made for them. They were told when to eat, shower, clean, and when they could play. I know that sounds odd if you’ve never been there. Your first thought is probably “who would ever want to live that way.” people who have never really experienced freedom, don’t really know what it is. I recall countless times during my days in law enforcement, when an inmate would be released just to immediately commit a crime to have their freedom taken and go back to the comforts of being bound.

As strange as that may sound, I have seen many enslaved Christians in my years of ministry, which even included me until about five years ago, even though I had been a Christian for around 33 years. The enslaved Christian is usually mentally tormented with guilt and self condemnation. The enslaved Christian is trying to live by a set of laws that the bible clearly tells them, that it is impossible to do. In some rare cases I have seen a few inmates who understood freedom, and experienced greater freedom than some so called free people who were not behind bars.

The children of Israel when they were enslaved in Egypt were classic examples of this “comforts of slavery.” God, using Moses freed the children of Israel from bondage. He got them out of Egyptian slavery, but they chose to let Egyptian slavery continue inside of them. In Exodus 14:11-12, they said “because there were no graves in Egypt you brought us here to die… You should have left us alone so that we may serve the Egyptians.” After they reminisce the comforts of slavery, they experienced a great miracle, the crossing of the red sea. Was that the end of their complaining and desire to return to the comforts of slavery? Did they enjoy and rest in their new found freedom? No and no! God is so good and gracious that after each complaint and desire to return to slavery, He gave them yet another miracle up until they were given the law.

We can be set free, such as the freedom we have in Jesus finished work of the cross, and yet never experience it because we choose religious bondage over His freedom. The law is chosen over His grace, or more commonly one chooses to mix law with grace, producing confusion, frustration, and dis-ease in their life.

Freedom doesn’t include living in fear, full of anxiety, worried all the time and being uncertain about your future. Jesus said in the parable of the sower in Mark the 4th chapter, that the seed sown among the thorns, cares of the world, the deceitfulness of riches, (constantly concerned about money, and gauging your success by your riches), will choke the word in your life making it UNFRUITFUL! The next verse reveals a truly free person. The seed is sown on good ground (grace) he hears the word, accepts (understands) it and bears some 30, some 60 and some 100 fold. That is so simple, yet the gospel is simple. It takes religion to complicate it.

Why do Christians choose to stay in bondage? Many have never really tasted freedom, and as long as they try to achieve some level of freedom through their self efforts or works righteousness, then sad to say it will remain elusive to them.

Our forgiveness which makes us innocent, is the centerpiece of what Jesus completed for us at the cross. With that in mind I will tell you, that primarily guilt will keep you from enjoying the full measure of Gods freedom in your life. If you feel guilty, or you are made to feel guilty by someone, or the pulpit, then you will find yourself drawn to mixture. Guilt tells you that someone is guilty and needs punished, and the sense of needing punished will draw you back to the law. You want Gods pure grace but your guilt drives you back to the abuser, (the law). That ‘sin consciousness’ finds a twisted kind of comfort in the law. Although you want His grace you just don’t feel worthy, so you have to go back to trying to earn your innocence, after a ‘quick fix’ of the law. A little self-punishment, or pulpit punishment, you feel some relief, and go on in grace until you need another conscious ‘fix’. This mixture is very toxic, and will void your faith, and holds you back from experiencing the true freedom Jesus came to give you. The good news is that you have been made innocent once for all, and God wants you to have a righteousness consciousness never to return to the mixing of law and grace. You cannot be under grace and the law at the same time. Romans 4:14 For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect.

If this describes where you have been, today step away from mixture, step into His grace. Receive His abundance of grace, and free gift of righteousness and reign as Kings in life. Experience true freedom. God loves you and you have been declared “not guilty”!

Grace-Full Business #7

Good morning, once again, as with everyday, by His grace He has positioned you for success! Do you believe that?

Why do we entrust our entire eternal destination to God, but sometimes were not sure that He has our best interest at heart here on earth, regarding our calling, business or occupation? We can rest easy knowing when we die we will be in heaven, but we can be so full of anxiety on Monday morning worried about having sufficient clients, or finances to get by. By the way, did you know that more heart attacks occur on Mondays than any other day. Let not your HEART be troubled.

For many, we believe we have to work hard here to make a life for ourselves, but in heaven everything is taken care of and we can rest; also because when we think about heaven, and when we get there, everything will be perfect no more guilt, no more devil, etc.

Friend, what more does God need to do to convince us that He fixed everything for us at the cross; He made us righteous, removing ALL guilt and condemnation. He defeated and disarmed the devil. He wants us to receive His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, and enter His rest, and reign in life through Christ Jesus. He wants us to reign in our businesses, and occupation. What are we waiting for? You need a raise? You need a promotion? God knows how to get the blessing for you and to you. Reign in life!

What we are waiting for, and really need is our identity to be revealed. Romans 1:16 & 17 NKJV 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is THE power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…17 For in it THE righteousness of God is revealed…

The word ‘salvation’ is not in the sweet by and by, when we all get to heaven stuff. This gospel is amazing, awesome, THE POWER of God to salvation (soteria), which means; rescue, safety, deliver, health, save, saving, a deliverer.

You can trust Him with your business, your career He highly favors you and greatly loves you.

Let’s read Romans 1:17 in the Mirror Translation with its notes; 1:17  Herein lies the secret of the power of the gospel; there is no good news in it until the righteousness of God is revealed! (The good news is the fact that the cross was a success. God rescued the life of our design, He redeemed our innocence. Man would never again be judged righteous or unrighteous by his own ability to obey moral laws! It is not about what man must or must not do but about what Jesus has done!)…

Our identity in Christ is priceless, our righteousness revealed is priceless. There will be those who try to tell you this isn’t for now, but heaven; only to steal, through the enemy’s deception, what your Father has planned for you! See Jeremiah 29:11.

Don’t let the cares of the world choke the word in your life making it of no effect. Mark 4:19. Hear the word of grace, accept it, and bear fruit. Mark 4:20.

Rest in what Jesus did for you, enjoy everyday of your life. Don’t be ‘stressed’ if your day didn’t schedule perfectly, enjoy life. Jesus sometimes would say to His disciples “oh you of little faith” we could paraphrase that by saying, “why do you take so little, when I am so full of supply for you?” “Why do you trust me so little in your profession?”

Hebrews 13:5 Amplified Bible, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

Do you believe that? What you thought you could only obtain in heaven, you are finding out you have already obtained through the finished work of the cross.

His Ressurection; Proof You Are Forgiven!

Good morning, God has been thinking about you this morning, and how much He loves you!

Your sins have been forgiven, you don’t have to confess your sins to be forgiven, all your sins were punished on the body of Jesus, once for all at the cross. Accept His gift of forgiveness and thank Him for it! The more I study this, the more I realize that the forgiveness of sins, and my knowledge of this, is key to freedom, and Jesus resurrection is proof of our total forgiveness.

Romans 4:24,25 Mirror Translation 4:24 God had us in mind. The same logical conclusion is now relevant to everyone′s faith. The resurrection of our Lord Jesus from the dead is the consummation and chief ingredient of faith. 4:25 Our sins resulted in His death; our innocence resulted in His resurrection.(If mankind was still guilty, then Jesus could not be raised!)

If you really listen to religious folks, you will notice that most of their anger with the gospel of ‘grace’ is rooted in their own self condemnation, because of uncertainty of their once for all forgiveness. They will tell you that you are forgiven ‘if’ you confess every sin, and by golly you better mean it too, or God might not forgive you. The enemy loves that kind of non-sense. It was sin that started the problem with Adam, and it is the removal (forgiveness) of sin that has brought us salvation and the free gift of righteousness (innocence), so yes the devil doesn’t want you to know you are totally, forever, once for all, forgiven. It is the enemy’s plan to keep Christians sin conscious and he does this by condemning you, making you erroneously think that you must confess every sin and grovel over them, and maybe, if you were sincere enough, God will forgive you; or if you do the right kind of penance then you will be forgiven. Anything you receive for your penance (self effort) would then be a ‘reward’ not a gift, because you just tried to earn forgiveness. This is a clear contradiction to the finished work of the cross. Ephesians 2:8&9, 2:8 For by grace (unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor) you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 2:9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.

Only one place after the death burial and resurrection of Jesus, (under the new covenant of grace), in 1st John 1:9 do we see confession of sin, so let’s take a look at it.

The first chapter of 1st John, was written to the gnostic who did not believe Jesus came in the flesh, and they did not believe in sin. With this in mind, John wrote in 1st John 1:9, if we ‘confess’ our sins… The word confess there in the Greek is homologeo which means to say the same thing about sin as God does. Agreeing with God about what He has said about sin, is a lot different than a conditional requirement in order to be forgiven. Nobody is denying sin here like the gnostic, we are just receiving His unconditional forgiveness.

Hebrews 1:3… When He had purged sins, sat down at the right had of the majesty on high. He sat down, after He purged sins, man was fully acquitted Jesus rested because “it is finished”. Are you acquitted or does Jesus have to stand every time you sin? Hebrews 1:3 Mirror Translation; …The content of his message celebrates the fact that God took it upon himself to successfully cleanse and acquit mankind. Jesus is now his right hand of power, the executive authority seated in the boundless measure of his majesty. He occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse man’s innocence!. (“Having accomplished purification of sins, he sat down…”). In the old testament the priest work was never finished, so they were not allowed to sit down. There would be more sin, and therefore the next sacrifices to prepare. Hebrews 10:1-12 Mirror translation: 10:1 For the law presented to us a faint shadow, outlining the promise of the blessings anticipated in the coming of Christ, even detailing its future significance. The mere sketch however, could never be confused with the actual object that it represented. The annual sacrificial rites as shadow of the eventual object would always leave the worshiper feeling inadequate and be a reminder year after year of the sinfulness of man. 10:2 If it was possible to present the perfect offering that had the power to successfully remove any trace of a sin-consciousness, then the sacrificial system would surely cease to be relevant. (The measure of success must be such that God’s affirmation of our innocence would be reflected.10:17) 10:3 But in the very repetition of these ritual sacrifices the awareness of guilt is reinforced rather than removed. 10:4 The conclusion is clear: animal sacrifices failed to remove both sinfulness and guilt. 10:5 So when Jesus, the Messiah, arrives as the fulfillment of all the types and shadows, he quotes Psalm 40:6,7,8, and says, “Sacrifices and offerings could never satisfy your justice, but you have pierced my ear, and prepared my body for the altar.” (See 5:8) 10:6 All the prescribed offerings and sacrifices failed to satisfy justice. 10:7 “Then I said, I read in your book what you wrote about me; so here I am, I have come to fulfill your will.” (Ps.40:7, Luke 4:17, Luke 24:44.) 10:8 Having said this that all the prescribed offerings and sacrifices failed to please God, he condemned the whole of the sacrificial system upheld by the law. (Since they only served to sustain a sin-consciousness and was of no further benefit to man.) 10:9 By saying “I am commissioned to fulfill your will,” he announces the final closure of the first dispensation in order to introduce the second. (Grace replaces the law; innocence supersedes sin-consciousness.) 10:10 By his resolution he sees us immediately sanctified through one sacrifice, the slain body of Jesus Christ. 10:11 Every priest continually repeats the same daily rituals and sacrifices, knowing that they have always proved incapable of removing sins. 10:12 But now we have an exception. In complete contrast to the previous priesthood, this priest offered a single sacrifice of perpetual efficacy for sins. To celebrate the perfection of what was attained through his single sacrifice, he sat down as the executive authority of God.(God’s right hand). 10:13 His seat of authority is established on the sure expectation that all his enemies will be subdued. He will stand in triumph, his feet on the neck of his enemy. 10:14 By that one perfect sacrifice he has perfectly sanctified sinful man forever. 10:15 This is exactly what the Holy Spirit now endorses in us having already foretold it in scripture: (Jer.31:33,34.) 10:16 This is my covenant that I will make with you during those days, says the Lord; I will greatly advantage you by giving my laws in your hearts and engrave them in your inmost thoughts. (didomi to give someone something to their advantage.) 10:17 This is final: I have deleted the record of your sins and misdeeds. I no longer recall them. 10:18 Sins were dealt with in such a thorough manner that no further offerings would ever again be required. Nothing that we can personally sacrifice could add further virtue to our innocence.

The goodness of God produces repentance. The bible definition of repentance is; a radical change of mind. When you see His goodness, your mind is radically changed toward and about Him!

Whether you know it or not Gods goodness and grace is all around you. It is behind you, it goes before you, it has removed all your sins, you are in a sea of grace everywhere and it will never run out. Now, today enjoy His peace and enter His rest, and reign in life today as a King knowing that He has abundantly supplied for you.

Purification Of Sins

Good morning, remember today, you are forgiven and He has positioned you for success today!

Heb 1:3 “Having accomplished purification of sins, He sat down… Mirror Translation: … He occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse man’s innocence.

Heb 7:27 who does not need daily, as those high priest, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself.

If our sins have been purged, then why can’t Christians let go of them? Why are they still haunted by their sin? Forgiveness of sin is central to the new covenant, and most any Christian will tell you Jesus died on the cross to forgive our sins. Instead of knowing that what Jesus did was forgive all sins once for all, and forever, which is precisely what He did. Jesus is the ‘once for all’ offering for our sin according to Hebrews 10.

Why do most people believe Jesus was able to do all the miracles we read about in the gospels? Because He was without sin.

Why did Jesus say, “these things you have seen me do, greater than this you will do because I go to my father in Heaven”? Because He was ushering in a new covenant of Grace as a result of His death, burial, and resurrection, which provided (purged) forgiveness sins! Now we are righteous! So now that He has gone to our Father in Heaven, we can now do these things because our sins were once for all purged!

This is important that we believe this, what He has done for us, or we will certainly have a sin consciousness and condemn our self, and our self condemnation will produce doubt in our lives, stopping us from receiving from God. (see ‘Doubt Not’ in this blog).

Instead we need to be conscious of the fact that we are the righteousness of God in Christ. To be righteous means right standing with God, but it also means to be innocent, guiltless, and faultless.

Romans 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… If we don’t believe that the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from all our sins, then the devil will keep us sin conscious, condemned, and afraid that we are in trouble with God, and keeping us in a cycle of failure. Actually understanding our complete forgiveness because of the cross will destroy the power of sin in our lives.

Receive what Jesus has done for you at the cross, and reign as Kings in life today!
