The Object Of His Love

Good morning to you today! Oh how God loves you and wants His best for you. Believe what He says and thinks about you today, and soar to new heights!

He does not see you as a failure, He sees you as a success.

He did not see you as without value, but he saw you as “to die for”, which makes you priceless!

He doesn’t see you as broke, but He sees you loaded with all of His blessings, fully supplied in abundance to meet every need and yes even your desires.

He doesn’t see you as sick and broken down, but as vibrant and full of life, His life!

He doesn’t see you as a nobody, He sees you as somebody very special to Him with unlimited potential!

He was so excited about you that He threw a party when you invited Him to live in you!

For you see YOU are the object of His love, a love that has no conditions, a love that is so intense that He gave His very best just to be with you, a love that would stop at nothing to restore your innocence, make you righteous, never ever hold your sin or shortcomings against you! A love that completely destroyed and disarmed your enemy. Why did He do all this for you, because He LOVES YOU!

He loves everything about you, your personality, your hair, your smile, your sense of humor, He goes to work with you, He has given you His grace, you are highly favored and have been greatly advantaged because of Him! Because of His love for you, you have an unfair advantage over the world, in all that you do!

The beauty of His love is that you don’t have to earn it, you don’t have to deserve it, you are always loved by Him, you are always highly favored by Him not because of anything you have done, but because of what He has done! You are completely innocent and you are His!

You know Him as Abba, your exceedingly loving Father in Heaven! You are His beloved, He will never let go of you nor loosen His grip on you! All He wants you to do is believe, so believe that Jesus paid the price to give this to you; now go and reign as Kings in life today!

Grace-Full Business #4

Good morning everyone, Gods grace is already supplying the contacts and abundance of provision for you today, so don’t worry, or be anxious about anything, just enter His rest, because He loves you and has prepared for you the good life!

The blessing of the Lord it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it, neither does toiling increase it. Proverbs 10:22 Amplified Bible.

When we look at what the Lord has for us in our business and occupation, we need to recognize that it is all by His grace, because of what Jesus has done for us at the cross. Romans 5:16, 17, & 18 Mirror Translation: 16 The difference between the two men is further emphasized in that judgement and condemnation followed a single offense, whereas the free gift of acquittal and righteousness follows innumerable sins. 17 If (spiritual) death saw the gap in one sin, and grabbed the opportunity to dominate mankind because of one man, how much more may we now seize the advantage to reign in righteousness in this life through that one act of Christ, who declared us innocent by His grace. Grace is out of all proportion in superiority to the transgression. 18 The conclusion is clear: it took just one offense to condemn mankind; one act of righteousness declares the same mankind innocent.

Your success at your calling is not based on your performance, it is based on believing what Jesus has done for you at Calvary. Do you believe that you have been made innocent? Are you righteous? This is your new identity in Christ. Because of your identity you have been made overcomers, this has nothing to do with self efforts or your obedience, but it has everything to do with Jesus obedience on your behalf.

Realize that when you feel like you are a failure in business, or your personal life it is because you have forgotten that you have been forgiven of all your sin. (2nd Peter 1:9). When you condemn yourself, somewhere you have forgotten that you have been forgiven. All your sin was punished on the body of Jesus at the cross, so that you could be the righteousness of God in Christ. You are forgiven, innocent and righteous! That my friend is good news.

This is very important to grasp because when you condemn yourself, you put yourself back under the law-trying to earn righteousness, which is a gift by His grace, it is unearned. Let this revelation settle in and begin to expect and watch for His favor on your behalf where you work. Don’t ever think, “my boss is to difficult, this won’t work”. All things are possible for them who BELIEVE.

Let’s look back at the word “blessing” in Proverbs 10:22, it means: provide for, advantaged, or divine grace. It is His unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor that makes one rich. Expect His grace in your business today! Expect His grace with your employer today! He wants to bless you, rest in His finished work and don’t be concerned about anything, His thoughts are to bless you, not harm you, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Reign in life through Christ today!

Remember: 2012 Year Of Unceasing Fruitfulness

Good morning everyone. Remember the word given for 2012? The year of unceasing fruitfulness?

I thought it would be good to revisit this word for us. Many times we hear something God has for us, then we soon forget it. I wrote about this January 22nd, and we need to keep this before our eyes, because it puts us in remembrance of what God wants for us, not only this year but even beyond that. No matter what is going on around us in this world we have a Savior who loves us and has made abundant provision for us that will never run out.

Remember this year is a year to walk in every blessing God has provided, no self efforts, cease from your works, and enter His rest. Eph 1:3 (Mirror Translation) Let us celebrate God; He has lavished every blessing heaven has upon us in Christ! Praise the Lord!

Jeremiah 17:7-8 was a verse given by many men of God for 2012: 7 Blessed is the man who trust in the Lord, and whose hope is the Lord. 8 For He shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Be refreshed today, and remember through Christ you can enjoy unceasing fruitfulness! Today, receive His abundance of grace, and free gift of righteousness, and reign in life.

What Troubles You Today

Good morning everyone, isn’t it good to know you have victory today because Jesus cares for you.

Is there something weighing heavy on your heart, or troubling you today? Maybe its troubled you for awhile now, and stirring some fear inside you, knotting up your stomach? John 14:27 Jesus said; “let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”. We are the only ones who can “let not” our hearts be troubled or fearful. We can do that by beholding Jesus, and His finished work of the cross. Just prior to Jesus telling us to let not your heart be troubled notice He did something amazing which we would catch the full benefit of after He went to the cross. He said “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you…” He bequeathed His peace to you. Isaiah 53:5 says “the chastisement for our peace was upon Him”. Friend Jesus paid the price for your peace at the cross so that you could live life free from a troubled heart! Let’s look at that in light of the. Strongs Hebrew meaning of shalom: [the chastisement for our peace] (shalom) safe (safely) well (wellness) happy, health, prosperity, peace, favor, (good health) prosper (prosperity prosperous) rest (all is well) [was upon Him].

That is the peace He bequeathed to you. Because He loves you. When our heart troubles us 1 Peter 5:6 tells us; therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He CARES for you. To humble yourself is to recognize what Jesus has done for you and cast your cares upon Him because He will take care of your problem. Many times people don’t cast their cares because the don’t know how much He cares! He loves you!
Mark 5:19 “and the cares of this world the deceitfullness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in CHOKE the word, and it becomes unfruitful”. Did you see that it makes the word unfruitful in your life. Let it go, cast your care on Him, He loves you! Vs 20 says the believer who produces fruit hears the gospel of grace, receives it and bears fruit.

Believe what He says and bear fruit, and He said to receive His abundance of grace, and free gift of righteousness and you will reign as Kings in life. Now let it go, He will fix it and you go reign as a King today!

He Is Good

Good morning everyone. Thank God for His intense demonstrated love for us. Enjoy His abundant life today!

For us to be successful in life we need be very clear in our minds, that God is good, and He loves us and would never harm us. John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. Vs 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

He is not the one making you sick, nor is He using the devil to teach you a lesson. He loves you so much that He died for you, and was raised up again so that you could have the abundant life He spoke of. It is the GOODNESS of God that leads us to repentance, Romans 2:4.

The word abundantly in John 10:10 is “perissos” in the Greek, meaning superabundant (in quantity) or superior (in quality), exceeding abundantly above, advantaged, very highly, beyond measure. Now that is your God! Also the word “life” in that same verse is “Zoe” in the Greek, meaning the God kind of life.

Yet religion has tried to teach us that God is the one killing people and causing disasters. I think we just established that we have been lied to by religion. God wants you to enjoy the rich abundant life that only comes through Him, and His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, Romans 5:17. It is imperative that we learn our new identity now that we are “in Christ” understanding what Jesus finished work at the cross has done for us. Hosea 4:6 tells us: My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. Notice it says “my people”. In God’s mind mankind is associated in Christ; in His blood sacrifice we were ransomed; our redemption was secured; our sins were completely done away with, Colossians 1:14 (Mirror Translation). Praise the Lord what a loving awesome God we serve! Today you can overcome because you know God is for you not against you, your sins were completely done away with, and we are righteous (innocent, guiltless, and faultless) because of our savior. Who came to save us, and through Jesus He did just exactly that! Now, go reign in life today in Christ!

Grace-Full Business #3

Good morning everyone! I hope your ready for the third installment in the Grace-Full Business devotional series.

For too long now the church has accepted the worlds way of doing business…

Today set aside everything you were taught about growing your business or profession and let us look at it through grace. We all desire to be successful at what we do, and we should, but what we have been taught, traditionally, to do, can’t even come close to what God has already prepared for you.

The Word of His grace is the least understood tool for the business person; why, because most business people rely on someone else to teach them to succeed, instead of going to God Himself. We rely on the companies marketing program, or the high dollar motivational speaker hired to give us a rah-rah pep talk designed to boost our production. Usually we get a long list of to-dos in order to be successful, miss one item on that list and you start over. This system we are so use to, usually just veils our eyes from God’s very best for us and our business and occupation which causes us to labor in all kinds of self efforts. 2nd Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament (law), because the veil is taken away in Christ… Vs 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding…the glory of the Lord…As we behold Him, or simply put, learn what Jesus has done for us, and understand that we are made righteous (innocent) through His obedience; He explodes His Grace (undeserved favor) into our lives. We then begin to find ourselves at the right place at the right time for His blessings, living the good life He already prepared for you.

What transforms our lives is the gospel of grace, pure grace. I can tell you from my own experience that I tried everything to find that success I knew God had for me in my ministry, profession, and business only to find myself working endless hours toiling and at the end of the day asking the Lord, “what am I doing wrong.” ultimately coming to the conclusion that I wasn’t measuring up to Gods standards. Friends, that’s not grace, that is laboring under the law, and that is what most of us have been taught. In the Word of faith movement, we heard this; “where am I missing it Lord?” the very question implies sin consciousness! You have been redeemed from missing the mark! The question should be; “what do I believe?” do you believe what Jesus did at the cross, or do you still think you need to work for or contribute to the finished work Jesus completed for you at the cross. When I received the revelation of His grace, that is when everything turned around! I mean really turned around and I experienced God’s involvement in my business daily and I was finally able to rest in what He has already done for me. I am very excited about what God has in store for us as we progress through this series.

Paul quoted this scripture in 1st Corinthians, which was originally from Isaiah. Isaiah was speaking of a day to come, which would, through Christ, unveil our eyes to Gods awesome grace, Paul said; Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered into the heart of man the things God has prepared for us, but God has revealed them to us through His Spirit… Well here we are, prepare yourself to hear and see what Paul spoke of. Also remember, it is God that gives you the power to get wealth, Deuteronomy 8:18. Now reign as Kings in you profession and life today.

The Bible Is All About Jesus

All of the Bible is about JESUS, all of JESUS is about YOU!

What a awsome God we serve! Hebrews 10:7 Then I said, “Behold, I have come~In the volume of the book it is written of Me~To do Your will, O God…” 9 then He said, “Behold I have come to do your will, O God.” He takes away the first so that He may establish the second. 10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded (explained) to them in ALL the scripture the things concerning Himself.

All the Bible is about our beautiful Savior and His finished work, His awesome demonstration of His love! In the old testament is types and shadows of the things to come through Christ at the cross, and the new, His finished work. We saw in Hebrews 10 that the redemption plan was completed by Jesus sacrifice on the cross, and that He took away the first (the law, which was works righteousness) to establish the second (the gift of rightousness, by faith not works). Friends, this is His unconditional love and undeserving favor.

Just think about how much you are loved! We have got to recognize that Jesus is always the solution and never the cause of our problems.

All of the Bible is about JESUS, all of JESUS is about YOU!

Yes about YOU! Isn’t that amazing! Everything Jesus did at the cross was done for you. All He requires is that we Believe what He has done for us at the cross. Yet many times we still want to go back to trying to earn or merit our righteousness from Him. Galations tells us; that is to fall from grace, if you try to deserve it, then it is no longer undeserved favor.

Luke 24:25 describes the main endictment of the church, …slow of heart to believe… Sometimes we are very slow to believe everything Jesus did for us at Calvary and just how perfectly redeemed we are. Believe today, and receive His abundance of grace and free gift of rightousness and reign as Kings in life today.

Rest Vs Impatience

Yesterday we spoke about entering His rest. Today let’s talk about impatience, an indicator that you are probably not at rest. We live in a “I want it now” fast food society, where if our meal takes over 5 minutes to get to us, we are ready to give someone a piece of our mind, the piece no one wants by the way. Impatience says it is not possible or its probably not going to happen, rest says all things are possible. The definition of Hope is “a positive expectation of good in your future.” Websters dictionary defines impatience as: “restlessness or the absence of expected good.”

“restlessness” no rest, “absence of expected good” no hope. Jeremiah 29:11 tells us what God’s ongoing thoughts toward us are and He wants to give you a future and a hope.

Jesus came to bring you hope and provide for you true rest. My friend you can have a confident expectation of good in your future because Jesus finished the work of redemption and has made provision for everything you will ever need. Because Jesus took your place at the cross, all of God’s anger was exhausted on the body of Jesus on the cross, so you can rest knowing that you are forgiven, and God will never ever be angry with you. He is not holding out on you.

What is it that has made you restless or impatient? Romans 8:32 (Amplified Bible) “He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?” How could He possibly be holding anything out on you, He gave heavens best. Many times when you feel unloved or distanced you feel anxious and restless. Understand you are the object of His love, you are seated in heavenly place with Christ Jesus. You are in Christ, in the most Holy place! Wow! It doesn’t get any better than this! You might say “Evan, I don’t feel like it though.” your feelings do not change the truth about you, you are righteous, (innocent, guiltless, and faultless) you must see yourself and think of yourself the way God sees and thinks of you. He is not mad at you, He is mad about you!

All the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us (1 Corinthians 2:20). You see, He wants you blessed in everything you do, He wants you healed, whole and at rest.

Don’t let the cares of the world choke the word and make it unfruitful in your life. When the word is unfruitful it isn’t working! We want to bear fruit, and Mark 5:20 tells us just exactly how to do it! But these are the ones sown on good ground (gospel of grace), those who hear the word, receive it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.

Gods three step success plan, 1 hear the gospel of grace, 2 receive it, 3 and bear fruit. Religion has made it hard when it is so easy. Now go bear fruit today, and reign in life as a King!

Powerful Rest

Good morning everyone! Today rest in what Jesus has done for you.

God has prepared powerful rest for us, Hebrews chapter 4 tells us of the promise of God’s rest. One of the things we have learned in our devotionals, is the vital importance of believing what Jesus has done for us at the cross, and we see that “unbelief” is what hindered Isreal from entering the promised land, which God gave to them. Verse 11 says: “let us be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of unbelief.”

The entire Bible points to Jesus and the finished work of the cross, redeeming us, the object of His intense love. What a loving father we have! Genesis chapter 5 is a chapter on geneology and yet it points to mans redemption through our savior Jesus. Let’s look at this geneology:

Adam, means “man”
Seth means “appointed”
Enosh means “mortal”
Kenan means “sorrow”
Mahalalel means “the blessed God”
Jared means “(desend) shall come down”
Enoch means “teaching”
Methuselah means “his death shall bring”
Lamech means “powerful”
Noah means “rest”

When we put this together we see the picture God painted for us: “Man (is) appointed mortal sorrow, (but) the blessed God shall come down teaching (that) His death shall bring powerful rest.
That was a shadow, now we have the actual finished work! Wow! What an amazing God we serve! Genesis 6:8 says: “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord”. Noah, meaning rest, represents our position of rest in Christ, it says he found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Praise the Lord, we also have found grace in the eyes of our Lord, and rest because Jesus paid the price for our perfect complete redemption. Remember His grace is unearned, undeserved, and unmerited, it is because of what Jesus did, not what you do.

Today, be diligent to enter His rest, believe what He has done for you, the price He paid so you could enjoy His rest! You can have rest in your conscience knowing ALL your debt is paid through His death on the Cross!

Colossians 1:12 “giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.” You are qualified, because your father qualified you! Now receive your inheritance, and enter into the rest he prepared knowing that everything you need has been provided. Today, go and reign as Kings in life!

How Much Are You Worth

Hello everyone! Rejoice today, for you are priceless to God! Did you know that?

John 6:28 Then they said to Him, “What shall we DO, that we may WORK the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered and said, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Jesus was asked “what must we do to work…” religion is always looking for something to do to validate their value with God. Yet Jesus simply says we are to believe! Too easy? Apparently not Christians are still trying to figure out what they must do, yet Jesus obedience at the cross made it so easy!

John 14:9 Jesus said “…He who has seen Me has seen the Father…” so even as Jesus is full of grace and truth, so is the Father. Let’s look at what Jesus said in Vs 12 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the things that I do he will do also; and greater than these will He do because I go to My Father.” If you believe. The greater things will be done because Jesus went to His Father after He finished our redemption. Now that our redemption is completely complete, and perfectly perfect, we can do the greater things, but you must believe what God says about you after Jesus finished the work.

Christians have trouble receiving from God because their value of themselves is based on how they “feel” about themselves. What they drive, where they live, their job, bank account balance and their past. Please hit the delete button, erase the history on the hard drive of your brain, and re-program it. (Romans 12:2)

The definition of “value” according to dictionary.com is: worth or importance. You must believe Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice, His blood was poured out for you. Past, present, and future, you can not earn your value in this new birth!

God loves you! He has made you a new creature, paid for by the blood of Jesus. You can’t put a monetary price on it, Judas tried and hung himself.

So why is it we keep hanging ourselves by devalueing ourselves? One person looks at a beautiful couch and says “wow its only $900.00,” another person looks at it and says “I wouldn’t pay $200.00 for it.” In a painting one sees a masterpiece , another sees a mess. Are you a masterpiece or a mess?

God looked at us long before we were ever born and He offered up His Son, Jesus, and said “priceless!”. (priceless means: too valuable to set a price on.) He paid for us with the priceless blood of His Son, which makes us a priceless masterpiece to Him, and yet we go about devalueing ourselves, by condemning ourselves, judging ourselves not good enough. We go about trying to be good and earn value with God. A priceless masterpiece doesn’t have to try to earn anything, it is priceless!

Many people base their faith on what they “do” not in what Jesus has already done. Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith, He authored and finished it, you just need to believe. I have taught before that doubt (from the Greek) is actually self condemnation. Think about it when you condemn yourself, you are questioning (doubting) the masterpiece God has made you through Christ. You are questioning the priceless value God has placed on you! Therefore questioning God.

If you don’t think God loves you, then you believe God is angry with you. If you see little or no value, in yourself, then how can you receive all God has for you, let alone do “greater things”.

Recognize today, what Jesus has done for you, and how valuable you are to Him. Believe and do greater things. Now go reign in life today!
