Good News: The Righteousness Of God Is Revealed

Blessed day to everyone today! Remember today how much God loves you, with a love that is only good for you not harmful, He loves you with no strings attached and wants to bless you today! You are righteous today (innocent, guiltless, faultless, and have right standing with God) because of what Jesus has done for you.

Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of THE gospel of Christ, for it is THE power of God to salvation for everyone who believes…” NKJV vs 17 Herein lies the secret of the gospel; there is no good news until the righteousness of God is revealed! (The good news is the fact that the cross of Christ was a success. God rescued the life of our design, He redeemed our innocence. Man would never again be judged righteous or unrighteous by his own ability to obey moral laws! It is not about what man must or must not do but about what Jesus has done!) God now persuades everyone to believe what He knows to be true about them. (It is from faith to faith) The prophets wrote in advance about the fact that God believes that righteousness defines the life that He always had in mind for us. “Righteousness by His (God’s) faith gives meaning to life.” (Mirror Translation)

Notice that the gospel (good news) of Christ is THE power of God! This statement from verse 17 tells us where the power of God is; …the righteousness of God is revealed… The power of God comes from His revealing His righteousness in our lives! The good news is that through the cross, Jesus cleared you of all charges, declared you innocent by His blood, and gave you the gift of righteousness! This is awesome! You are free! On top of that He has given you His grace, endless supply of whatever you need. All you have to do is believe, believe what He has done for you, believe that you are righteous! It is His gift to you, receive it and enjoy effortless success today!

Romans 5:17 For if by one man’s offense death reigned through the one, MUCH more those who receive abundance of grace (unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor) and the gift of righteousness will REIGN IN LIFE through the one Jesus Christ. Now go reign in life!

His Countless Thoughts For You

Good morning, you are God’s beloved. Remember today that God thinks about you ALL the time. How precious also are your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand…Psalm 139:17-18. He loves you so much He is thinking about you all the time, yes YOU!

Have you ever tried to count the sand? You don’t have to, just know He is thinking about you all the time. You want to know what He is thinking, that would be kinda cool to know. Let’s look at Jeremiah 29:11 and see: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you a future and hope.” Now that’s a lot of positive thinking about you by the one who loves you, created you, and redeemed you! Meditate on that today, it will empower you to effortless success.

God said in Jeremiah “to give you a future and hope.” The bible definition of hope: To give you a confident expectation of good in your future. There is nothing more exciting than knowing that your Father in heaven is on your side, and because of the finished work of the cross, your beautiful savior has secured your blessed and successful future for you! All you have to do is believe.

Now enter His rest which He spoke of in Hebrews. God did the planning for your future, Jesus paid the price for you at the cross, and all you have to do is rest in the finished work, by beholding Jesus and be more conscience of what He has done than your shortcomings today. He did it all, now enjoy the good life.

Forever Forgiven

Good morning everyone. Monday night service was exciting, our lives are being forever changed by the Good News.

We have journeyed deeper into the fact that we are completely forgiven of all sins. Now with the problem of sin dealt with, we are now positioned to receive every blessing.

Some of the promises given to us in Isaiah 54 where He tells us: “… So I have sworn that I will not be angry with you.” God will never be angry with you, because Jesus absorbed all Gods anger in His body at the cross for us. He continues: “…And my covenant of peace shall not be removed.” And “in righteousness you shall be established.” God promised to establish us in righteousness, which means He establishes us in an eternal right standing with Him. Under the Old Covenant, one had to establish one’s own righteousness through obedience to the law. Under the New Covenant, we are established in righteousness through Jesus’ perfect obedience on our behalf. Wow, that is breathtaking! These three promises from Isaiah 54 show us just how complete the plan of salvation through Jesus is at restoring our innocence. And if you are forever innocent/forgiven then that makes you innocent before God! He has made ALL things new in Him! In Hebrews 8:12 He says “For I will be merciful toward their iniquities, and I will remember their sins NO MORE.”

Let us not forget Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.” When you accepted the Lord, you were were placed in Christ, so this is for you! Don’t condemn yourself for you are in Christ and innocent because of Jesus your beautiful savior. Do not call unclean, what God has called clean (Acts 10).

Because of the cross, God is for you. Not against you. Romans 8:32 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things. This is amazing!

God can never be angry with you, condemn you, or count you sins against you in any way, because He is a faithful God, faithful to His Covenant in Christ!

Now, receive His super abundance of Grace, and free gift of righteousness, and go reign in life today!

Grace-Full Business #1

This is the beginning of a devotional teaching on what I have called “Grace Business Practice”. I will probably start it on Monday’s to start the week.

First let’s look at the definition of Business: according to Websters 1828 Dictionary, Business is, employment, business or trade; that which occupies the time, attention and labor of men, or women, for the purpose of profit or improvement.

Starting from this premise, we will explore how the finished work of Jesus, will, once believed, cause your business (based on the above definition) to excel beyond your imagination. It is so simple, yet profound because of what Jesus has done for you. It is by grace that you are saved through faith, that not of your own self efforts, but entirely based on what He has done, it is a gift of God! Eph 2:8. Now what would make you think in your business or occupation it would be any different? You cannot separate your business (or your assignment), from your personal life. The simplicity of this is going to require a paradigm shift, and much repentance (which the bible definition means to change your mind) from how you have thought and done business to His Grace model.

You will also note that everything taught here will apply to your personal life. I have never heard anyone teach this, therefore I am very excited to get started. You will see in both your business and personal life just how amazing His grace really is! I have been involved in ministry in some capacity for around 30 years, and business for 20 years as well as professional occupation for 11 years. When I caught the revelation of His grace around 5 years ago, the Lord began to teach me in the business arena just how His grace will change everything. And all I can say is wow! It has changed my life. I have struggled most my life in my profession, ministry and business, although by the worlds standards I had a lot of success, but it was a struggle. Until I met Grace!

Are you ready to get started, you will never have to worry about provision again. We will be talking about effortless success throughout this teaching, that is because the “self” has been removed from effort through the finished work of the Cross. He has prepared the good life for you, now let’s walk in it. I use to say “if you can ‘sell’ you can do anything”, now I accurately say “if you can ‘believe’, you can do ANYTHING!” This has been the introduction, next Monday we will dive in. I will continue the other devotionals, I just wanted to add this series in.

Oh How He Loves You And Me

Hello to everyone! You know God loves YOU with great intensity, in His joy of observing your beauty to Himself, He has numbered the hairs of your head.

He cares about every single detail of your life. He has not left anything out. He has prepared many pleasant and wonderful surprises along the way of your life, after all Eph 2:10 (Amp) says “…taking paths which He prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them living THE GOOD LIFE which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.”

These paths by the way are not on “Barely-get-along” street. No you are His and He has lavished His love on you, He even demonstrated His love for you according to Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for US.

Get to know Him more daily, His salvation He provided for you through Jesus is proof positive that He loves you and thinks about you all the time! As you grasp this good news daily it will become clearer and clearer that He has left no stones unturned in your behalf. Translated: whatever you need in life or desire He will provide, so don’t worry of become anxious for this only strangles the Word in your life and makes it unfruitful (Mark 4:19).

Remember Paul’s words in Romans 8:32 “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also FREELY give us ALL things.”

Mark 4:20 “But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the Word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred.”

He made it so easy for us in Christ. Hear the gospel of His grace, believe (receive) it and bear fruit. Wow once again I am truly amazed by His grace! May you be filled with the fullness of His love today!

God’s Passionate Desire For You To Enter His Rest

Good morning everyone, it is Saturday! Everyone can start to think about resting since it is the weekend.

Actually God wants us to rest everyday. Live a life of rest. Resting in the completed finished work of the cross.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

In the context of that scripture, Jesus was referring to the burden of religion, always laboring to try to live up to the law and religious rules, to please God, or qualify for His blessings. Jesus came to remove all that so that entering His rest is no longer just a weekend thing, but a daily lifestyle of freedom.

We don’t enter His rest according to Hebrews because of unbelief. Wow, we miss out on Gods best because we don’t believe Jesus fully and completely finished the work.

You know that it is Gods passion for you to fully and completely enter into His rest. It Is, you can cease now from your labors and self efforts and rest. He has so completely restored, redeemed and forgiven man through Jesus, that there is nothing left for you to do.

Let’s look at His passion for us to enter His rest. Psalm 95:11 says “O that they would enter my rest.” now that verse was referred to in Hebrews 4:3 (Mirror Translation) Faith secures our entrance into Gods Rest (into the result of His completed work). Hear the echo of God’s cry throught the ages, “Oh! If only they would enter into my rest.” His rest celebrates perfection. The sufficiency of His rest is founded upon the fact that His work is complete…

Hebrews 4:3 in the King James Version uses the word “wrath” which actually means something different than what we think. The word wrath is orge which means passionate desire, and strong outburst of emotion.

It is and always has been God’s passionate desire for us to cease from our efforts and works and enter into His rest. He prepared everything for you in Christ, He prepared, what Eph 2:10 (Amp) says “…taking paths which He prepared ahead of time, that we should walk in them living THE GOOD LIFE which He prearranged and made ready for us to live.”

Praise The Lord! Jesus finished the work, now stop struggling, enter His rest and enjoy the GOOD LIFE!

You Are Qualified

Good morning to you all, you qualifiy for an inheritance that has been left to you.

Have you ever dreamed that you were the sole heir to a huge inheritance? I mean a very valuable highly treasured inheritance. Then you wake up disappointed that it was only a dream, where you were famous and got all the attention, only to get to return to reality.

I think we all have had that dream. I have discovered that the reality mentioned above is really not reality at all. We do usually think, what we see and have is reality don’t we? We tend to identify ourselves by where we live, what we drive and how much we make, but the truth is, that kind of reality is wrong. What we think about all that has no bearing on our true identity and what God thinks about us.

True reality is believing what God believes about us. Sadly we have spent most of our lives approaching this backwards. When the simple truth is learning what God has completed for you, through Jesus.

Yes I am talking about your inheritance now, the one that you are qualified to receive. Colossians 1:12 says “He has qualified us to be partakers of THE inheritance of the saints…” Once again I am amazed at His love and grace for us! This inheritance is described throughout the bible, which includes peace, health, wealth, blessed relationships, you name it He has it covered in His Word.
The problem with most Christians is that they want to receive this wonderful inheritance, they just don’t feel like they are worthy. Constantly condemning themselves and sabotaging the plan by trying to earn, or merit this great inheritance. That is called work-righteousness, or self righteousness.

But not us, amen, we know we are clothed in His righteousness, we are innocent before God, and He loves us without condition, so let’s live this true reality knowing that He has qualified us! Continue to learn more of His grace and receive your inheritance!

For all the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him amen, to the glory of God through us. 2 Cor 1:20. Jesus paid for them, come now and freely receive what God has freely given.

Who You Are & What You Already Have

The difference between positive thinking and faith lies in its reference. While positive thinking might motivate you to strive to become and to possess, the faith of God reveals who you already are by design, and what you already have by redemption through Christ. (quoted from Francois du Toit mirror translation notes on Hebrews)

God’s plan of redemption through Christ is so thorough and complete that He left nothing unfinished. God has restored us to His original design, through Jesus! Because of this, we lack nothing.

Psalm 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd I shall not lack… Also 3 John 2 beloved I would above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your souls prospers.

The more we hear about what Jesus completed for us, the more His faith rises in us, this beholding Jesus is what will cause our soul to prosper, and thus prosperity in every area of life.

Knowing we are always righteous and innocent in Him will surpass positive thinking and take you into the revelation of His grace, this revelation will cause you to be conscious of your righteousness instead of your sin or shortcomings.

Notice in 3 John 2 it says even as your soul prospers. In order for us to move in His prosperity and health, our soul needs to also prosper simultaneously and become more and more righteousness conscious. In this we learn who we already are by design, and what we already have by redemption through Christ.

One Thing Is Needed

Good morning, good things are happening in so many lives. It is very exciting to see lives transformed by His grace!

Have you made time to sit at Jesus feet today?

Luke 10:39-42. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus feet and heard His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.” 41 And Jesus answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. 42 But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”

Many things in life can distract us from what is really needed, it can be your career, or business to name just a few. I am sure there were many things Martha felt needed to be done, but she was worried and troubled about many things.

What has been troubling you? Are you concerned about your business succeeding, sales, having enough clients? Are your concerned about a promotion, or just keeping your job in this economy? If you are worried and troubled about many things, then you have become distracted.

Mary on the other hand appeared to be neglecting her responsibilities, just sitting there at Jesus feet. Also notice in verse 40 Martha accused Jesus of not caring. Do you see what worry does to a person? It opens the door to fear and then instead of casting our cares on the Lord for He cares for us, we don’t cast our cares because like Martha who accused Jesus, we also begin to blame Him as well because we don’t know how much He cares. He cares more about our success than we do.

If you will re-prioritize and sit at Jesus feet to hear His Word, resting in the finished work of the cross, receiving His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, you WILL reign in life! Only one thing is needed and Mary has chosen that one thing.

Today will you choose that one thing? How important is your success, more important than the author or your success? Make time today to sit at His feet, adjust your schedule to go to sit at His feet and learn of His grace. Feed on it continually and by His grace he will do what you couldn’t do in a lifetime, he will bring the business, or the promotion, He can do in one second what we in all our self efforts could not achieve.

Remember in the parable of the sower the seed sown among thorns were the ones who hear the Word, and the cares of this world the deceitfullness of riches and the desires for other things entering in CHOKE the word and it becomes unfruitful. Trust Him, He will care for you!

You Are Accepted No Matter What They Say

Good morning, you are accepted because of Jesus.

Have you ever received an email that disqualifies you? Very manipulative~if you agree with something like “God is good” then forward this to everyone you know, if you don’t believe “God is good” then delete it.

That is what mixture is like, mixing law and grace. If you believe, then do what I say (works), if you don’t, then delete it. Irritating isn’t it, their attempt to make you feel guilty if you don’t perform. Recently I received one that said I would receive a miracle if I forwarded it to 8 friends in 8 seconds. If I didn’t “perform” then it said no miracle, or do good get good, do bad (by deleting it) get bad. Keep in mind most of these I get are Christian emails with this subtle attempt to control your actions in them.

That is exactly how mixture works, it is designed by our adversary to try to manipulate some works or self efforts~so that, you will be accepted.
I use this email example because it really pushes my “high alert its mixture” button. When it comes to the finished work of the cross it simply comes down to believing what Jesus has done for us.

In John 6:28 & 29 Jesus was asked “what shall we DO that we may WORK the works of God”. It seems that the law is all about doing, and grace is about done! People are wanting to do something, you know, just make it happen, or don’t just sit there DO something. We should say don’t just DO something, sit there and rest in His finished work. So what was Jesus answer? He said “This is the work of God, that you BELIEVE in Him whom He sent.” WOW just believe? Yep that simple!

Remember the other day when I was talking about complicating the simple gospel? Let’s not do that because you have been given the free gift of righteousness, you are righteous, innocent, and faultless all the time because of what Jesus has done.

So next time you get the message “do this or you don’t believe” whether its from email or the pulpit, just say no thanks according to Eph 1:6 I am accepted in the beloved, because I believe!
