Agree with God and be at peace! (Job 22:21)
What does God believe about you, what is His view and opinion of you and me? The beliefs you have about yourself often appear to be statements of fact, although actually they’re really only opinions. They are based on experiences you’ve had in life, and the messages that these experiences have given you about the kind of person you are. If your experiences have been negative, your beliefs about yourself are likely to be negative too. This makes it difficult to love and accept yourself, and yes, even forgive yourself. Therefore how do we love our neighbors as ourselves, if we don’t really love ourselves…we can’t.
Discover what God believes about you, and how intense His love is for you, believe Him, then love and accept yourself “just the way you are”. Then be prepared for exciting things in your life. Because if we hate our-self, or hold any disparaging opinion of ourselves, then we are in disagreement with our Father, who is madly in love with us.
