Jesus Is The Substance Of Your Faith!

Good morning everyone. The goodness of God produces repentance. Repentance is to change your mind; the goodness of God causes us to change our minds regarding the way we may have previously viewed Him. In other words, because of His goodness, we begin to see God in His goodness and grace. We begin to accurately see God in His love and grace for us! Then we can actually see the blueprint of who we are. Jesus is who we are; He is the substance of our faith!

Most of us have been shown a ‘harsh’ picture of God throughout our lives, mostly through religion. When the law is stripped away, and Jesus goodness and grace is displayed, several things begin to happen. First, you begin to change your mind from the old religious hard view of God, to understanding His love and goodness, (repentance~a change of mind takes place). Secondly, you begin to see a mirror reflection of who you are in Christ, by observing Jesus, or beholding His image as in a mirror (1st Corinthians 3:18) you are changed from glory to glory into His exact image. Jesus is a reflection of Who we are in Christ! (1st John 4;17 NKJV ) As He is so are we in this world! Wow that is an awesome statement! As you read this good news and believe it, unaware to you, faith begins to arise on the inside of you, as you behold Jesus! As you see Jesus in His grace, He sees you in your faith.

Hebrews 11:1 Mirror Translation: Persuasion confirms confident expectation and proves the unseen world to be more real than the seen. Faith celebrates as certain what hope still visualizes as future. (The shadow can no longer substitute the substance of faith. Jesus is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of everything the prophets foretold.)

Hebrews 11 continues to tell us of the faith of great old testament saints, as they believed in the promise, not having yet seen the promise~substance.

11:13 These heroes of faith all died believing. Although they did not witness the promise in their lifetime, they saw its fulfillment the future and embraced the promise by their persuasion. Convinced of its reality; they declared by their way of living that they were mere sojourners and pilgrims in a land whose geography could neither confine nor define their true inheritance.

11:14 They clearly declared by faith a hinterland beyond the horizon. (A place of promise where God and man would be one again).

We have the substance, Jesus! Jesus has made God and man one again! As He (Jesus) is, so are we in this world! Praise the Lord, now can you see why you can reign in life as Kings! Reign today!
